A SIMPLE PROCESS FOR CHURCH GROWTH

1.   Prayer
      Pray for wisdom to see God’s vision.
      Pray that believers will learn to love one another and love lost persons.

2.   Purpose (mission):  Fulfill the Great Commission

      Health, growing churches have a simple, intentional plan (process) for making disciples. 

            Reach People (Evangelism)

            Keep People (Assimilation)

            Grow People (Discipleship)

            Send People (Mobilization for Ministry)

3.   Planning   
            Current Reality: Where are we now?
      This includes Past History: How did we get where we are today?
            Future Vision: Where do we want to go?
            Planning: How do we plan to get there?
           Clarity – a mission statement that expresses the church’s purpose and its process for making disciples
           Alignment – the programs / ministries aligned with the stated process
           Movement – a design to help persons move from step to step in the process
           Focus – on the key programs / ministries in the process
